I'm in a bit of a baking phase, which I guess is my way of trying to balance out having to read so many things for uni. And because some of my friends made a comment about my cupcakes not making an appearance for a while.  Of course, I leapt at the chance to bake! Anyway, this was the product of a few hours baking:

 It's my friend's birthday coming up soon, and I decided to make her cupcakes (since she likes the ones I make) and I wanted to try something different. I was looking around the internet for icing techniques, and came across the two-tone frosting technique, and the rose cupcake. It looked so pretty that I had to give it a try!
